The boards of Future Hope India and Future Hope School ensure that the mission and ethos of Future Hope is upheld, provide policy and direction, support the CEO in the running of Future Hope and ensure that the children are well cared for by responsible adults who themselves are motivated positively for the benefit of these children.
Subrata Dutta, Managing Director of The George Telegraph Group, has made valuable contributions in the Education Industry, Sports Administration and Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Dutta is the founder of The George Group of Colleges, George Telegraph Institute of Automobile Engineering, George School of Competitive Exams, GSCE Publications and many other verticals under the umbrella of The George Telegraph Group.
Kaveri Dutt has been a teacher for most of her career and has enjoyed every moment of her time with her students in the classroom. She has taught in Loreto House and subsequently served as an administrator in Birla High School (Junior Section), Calcutta International School, (Senior Section), Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata and Loreto Day School, Bowbazar. Dutt has also served as a Board Member for the Kolkata Psychoanalytical and Therapeutic Centre.
She is a recipient of the I-Lead Award for leadership and contribution to education.
Rishav Dutt is a legal consultant and an alumnus of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. He spent over a decade with a leading law firm in Kolkata and has about 11 years of experience specializing in commercial litigation, arbitration (both domestic and international) and employment matters. Dutt has been serving as a Trustee of Future Hope since 2023.
Soumen Mitra, is an officer of the Indian Police Service belonging to the 1988 batch of West Bengal Cadre. A graduate of Presidency College, Kolkata and thereafter Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, he assumed charge as the 38th Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, in the rank of Director General of Police. Mitra has been serving as a Trustee of Future Hope since 2023.
Future Hope is a charitable organisation which provides opportunity through its homes, school, sports and medical programme for some of the most vulnerable children from the streets and slums of Kolkata, India.
