Our Homes

We believe that every child deserves to be safe and cared for so the homes are the bedrock of Future Hope. It is here that the children experience, possibly for the first time in their lives, a secure, stable and nurturing environment among people on whom they can depend.

Medical Care & Nutrition

When children arrive at Future Hope from the streets or slums many are malnourished and ill. Weakness, skin diseases, digestive ailments, tuberculosis and typhoid are all conditions from which children may suffer.

Future Hope School

Education is a human right but one that millions of children are still denied. By providing underprivileged children with an education at our school we give them the key to unlock opportunity; a chance to get a decent job, to escape poverty and to support their families & communities.

Extra Curricular Activities & Sport

At Future Hope we continually expose our children to a positive all round education, build up their confidence and determination to take on learning challenges and to view Future Hope as a steppingstone to a brighter, self-reliant future. As they discover new activities and talents we see an increase in their self-esteem, motivation and sense of belonging.

Career Guidance & Higher Education

The ultimate goal for Future Hope is to see the children in its care flourish and become independent, self-sufficient adults. Therefore, supporting the transition from education to further study and employment is essential to our success.

Community Sport

Khelo Rugby is a sport for development programme, part of Future Hope’s efforts to support needy and disadvantaged children at a community level. Khelo Rugby is where our passion for rugby meets our passion to improve the lives of the children that play with us.

Skills Training

In response to the need for five hundred million skilled workers in India in the next decade, we opened the Future Hope Skills Centre, a 4,000 square foot skills training centre in Barrackpore, West Bengal running courses to empower underprivileged youth to take advantage of skills gaps in the market.

Future Hope is a charitable organisation which provides opportunity through its homes, school, sports and medical programme for some of the most vulnerable children from the streets and slums of Kolkata, India.
